The yeast must be stored in a dry place and away from heat. After opening the sachet, the product must be used within 48 hours or sealed and stored in the fridge, and used within 8 days. Instant yeast can be frozen for 6 months to over a year, with some estimates suggesting up to 2 years, depending on storage conditions. Opened instant yeast should be sealed in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag to prevent moisture infiltration. It can be used directly from the freezer without needing to thaw
