Staub's 12" Panini Grill Press is specially designed for Staub's 12" Grill Pan. Although it's called a Panini Grill Press, it use goes so far beyond just paninis. The weight of the Grill Press helps weigh down food so it browns and sears evenly - perfect for weighing down proteins like steaks, chicken breasts and burgers.
To use this Grill Press, simply preheat it and lay it on top of whatever you're cooking in your pan to cook both sides at once. When your food is finished, you'll have beautifully cooked food with picture-perfect grill marks. Cast iron may be slow to heat up but retains heat for an extended period of time, diffuses it slowly and distributes it evenly.
Staub’s signature black matte enamel interior is easy to clean and does not require seasoning like traditional raw cast iron. The high-quality enamel used in Staub offers improved resistance to thermal shocks and scratching.
For best results:
- Heat slowly and use on low to medium heat.
- Bring up to temperature gradually.
- Allow dish to cool before washing.
- Completely dry before storing.
