All-Clad d5 is the only cookware on the market with five alternating layers of stainless steel and aluminum for exceptional performance. The alternating layers of aluminum and stainless steel provide the perfect combination of even heat diffusion and conductivity while the PFOA-free non-stick coating keeps food from sticking to your pan.

This steamer comes with a 5-Qt capacity pot, 4.5-Qt capacity steamer insert and a flat, fitted lid, all made of stainless steel. The steamer insert secures into the pot to ensure no steam escapes. Simply put the food you'd like to steam in the insert and bring water in the pot to a boil. The steam will rise through the holes in the insert to cook your food while retaining its nutrients. The possibility of foods to cook in the steamer are endless - fresh vegetables, seafood and dumpling are just the beginning!
